Biography

Julie was born in Somerville, Massachusetts sometime during the second Eisenhower Administration. She graduated from St. Clement High School in Somerville, and completed her studies at Emerson College, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in 1979.

In 1980, she joined the United States Marine Corps -- hence the moniker "Julie the Jarhead" -- and was honorably discharged in 1985. Back in civilian life, Julie worked in various fields as a temporary employee. She returned to further studies, and received a Masters Degree in Management Communications and Public Relations from Emerson College in 1995.

Presently, Julie is attending the Media Production Certificate Program at Emerson. She plans to complete the program in Summer 2008.

In order to pay the rent, Julie is a contractor, specializing in desktop publishing and layout, and works on projects for financial institutions and medical companies.

Julie has written short stories, screenplays, and is presently working on her second novel. Julie now lives in Malden, Massachusetts, and is a fervent Red Sox fan.
